New to NAIOP? What to Know About Public Policy

NAIOP Public Policy efforts ensure that owners and developers of industrial, office, mixed-use, retail and related real estate are protected from the ever-present threats and legislative and regulatory action and ballot processes that attempt to hinder and/or unfairly burden the commercial real estate industry.

Our Work Focuses On:

  • Monitoring legislative and regulatory activity that may affect commercial real estate development, ownership, and operations.
  • Proactively drafting, sponsoring, and supporting legislation that promotes economic growth and responsible development.
  • Engaging directly with policymakers to ensure decisions are informed by real-world industry experience.
